We have a tried-and-tested tip for you. To truly experience the Mumlavské Waterfalls at their best, we recommend visiting early in the morning or later in the afternoon.

At these times, you’ll find fewer visitors, and the waterfalls take on a completely different atmosphere, particularly cherished by photographers.

The Mumlavské Waterfalls often serve as the first stop for guests eager to explore the Harrachov area. From there, you can continue your journey to other beautiful Krkonoše locations, such as Vosecká bouda, the mountain ridges, or the Source of the Elbe.

If you still have enough energy, we definitely recommend continuing further. From Vosecká bouda, it’s just a short walk to the symbolic Elbe Spring.

It is precisely here that one of the most significant Czech rivers begins its long journey, subsequently flowing through the Czech Republic and Germany all the way to the North Sea. The place is popular not only among tourists but also among photographers who come here to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Krkonoše ridges.
